Most people have heard of the very popular Twilight Saga—a series of four books about Bella Swan and vampire Edward Cullen. In New Moon we’ll get to know Bella’s best friend, Jacob Black, better.
Some people call New Moon the movie of the year, which makes sense, because wherever you go, and whatever country you live in, Twilight is everywhere. It’s in books, magazines, on television, on posters. People talk about it all day—New Moon has been a trending topic on Twitter for months.
The premiere of the new film, New Moon, was on Tuesday and thousands of fans from all over the world watched the premiere live on MySpace, and some even camped in front of the Mann Theatre for four days to be able to see their favourite stars in real life on the red carpet.
Last night I went to the cinema to watch New Moon and I can tell you that the film surpassed my expectations. Stars Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan), Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black) all did a great job at portraying their characters.
Although some people call Kristen Stewart’s performance in Twilight weak, she surprised me in this movie and I think she’s doing a good job at portraying Isabella Swan, the girl that many girls and women of all ages can relate to.
Robert Pattinson did not get much screen time (about 45 minutes), but he’s great as Edward Cullen, the vampire who loves Bella so much, he decides it’s best for her to leave her, for her own protection.
The person who amazed me the most was Taylor Lautner. He isn’t just some actor playing Jacob, he is Jacob Black. Jacob is Bella’s best friend and he’s in love with her. To make the situation even more complicated we find out he’s a werewolf.
New Moon is an emotional, but action-packed movie. In many aspects I think this movie is much better than Twilight. With the special effects and the introduction of the wolves this movie is filled with action. Some parts of the movie might be a bit cheesy, but there’s enough action to keep even male moviegoers entertained. So guys: Don’t worry if your girlfriend wants you to see this movie with her. You’ll like it just as much as she does.
To anyone who hasn’t seen the movie (yet), I’d suggest you to drop everything you’re doing[1] and to go see it now. You won’t be disappointed.

Thanks for the great review! I can’t wait to see it. Unfortunately, my husband isn’t really into it, so it’ll have to wait for DVD. I enjoyed the first one, even though a lot of people didn’t, so I’m sure this one is awesome, too!
Thank you, I am glad you like it. Too bad you can’t see it right now. I can’t wait for the DVD/Blu-Ray release either. I heard it’s going to be released in March 2010. Looking forward to that. And Eclipse in July. Loved Twilight.
Wow, nice read. These days it is quite difficult to run into passionate statements. Has someone tried twilight dvd US giveaway?
